Default IBPro Import Script

Here's a script I threw together real quick to import everything from my old IBPro installation.

Before running the script, please note that it will remove all games, scores, and news from your current v3 installation!

To use the script, simply upload it to the folder you have vBulletin installed in, go to the file in your browser window, and follow the links on that page.

Note: You will need to rename the file from arcadeupdate.txt to arcadeupdate.php before uploading it. Since .php files are not allowed to be uploaded here I had to rename it to be a .txt file.

Update:
Please use Amy's version here. Apparently some users had problems due to database differences, and Amy has corrected them.

I did a manual import using a few creative queries, but I didn't bother with the high scores since it was due for a reset anyway. Glad to see this out there though!

The IBPro importing is the #1 worry on my list. LOL. I have so many of those games installed I'd probably have to cry if I had to do them all one by one. FOrtuantely I have 2 minions ready to categorize them for me when the arcade does get released ! bwhhahahhaa.. I don't have 600 or 1200 games like some people but 300 is still a LOT of fricken time.

It has code in there to copy over the scores too. Still, as noted, make a backup first.

Cool

Does it leave the ib tables and extra fields intact aswell ?

I currently have the old v3 tables and am beta testing the ibpro so I dunno which way im going yet, and if we do go with v3 again I am also undecided wether to drop the old v3 and use this to import the ib games, or update the old v3 when the new v3 is available. Be just as nice if theres one for v3 -> ib aswell as then whatever happens to these products, if anything should happen, switching would be pretty simple either way

My users (especially one in particular) would kill me if I lost the high scores. So far I've managed to keep them from Futureal's original arcade -> v3 arcade -> IBPro arcade -> back to v3 arcade.

It does not affect your tables ibpro in any way, just imports the info from them into the v3arcade tables.
